About Us
Welcome 2 Wed Ceremonies: Deb O’Dell & Deborah Vaughn are seasoned wedding professionals with years of experience. Their cheerful, laid-back personalities have allowed them to work with amazing couples performing hundreds of weddings and earning 5-star Reviews in the event industry.

Rev. Deb O’Dell is a minister and spiritual advisor; a seasoned professional officiant & keynote speaker. Fifteen years ago, she turned her focus to bringing something a bit different to wedding ministry, and Welcome2Wed was born.
​
Rev. Deborah Vaughn is an ordained minister; she is a seasoned wedding officiant and a locally renowned spiritual advisor. Deborah originally from Bringing Love Together formally joined the W2WC team in 2024. What a blessing it has been to have her with the team.

The Welcome 2 Wed team wants couples to continue to have more input into structuring their ceremony. They have developed a ceremony planning packet giving couples the opportunity to review various ceremony types, including each section of a wedding ceremony focusing on the couple's vision.
After all it is a couple's big day!

Your ceremony is when the adventure begins, the wedding is a time where you stand before those most important to you and make a promise to be committed to one another and to work together as partners in life. We believe that the more personal you make your ceremony, the more memorable it will be for you and your guests.

Welcome 2 Wed Ceremonies' mission is to ensure the ceremony planning process is as stress-free as possible by offering guidance and assistance along with our custom planning packets. We encourage our couples to remember that with so much to consider in planning all the details, ultimately, this is their big day and we understand and respect our couples’ vision; we work with them to ensure they get the ceremony that represents them as individuals and as a couple, including their traditions and anecdotes in making a memorable day.

We encourage every couple to meet with us in person to ensure they are comfortable with their officiant choice. We offer Phone/Zoom Consultation options as well. We want your ceremony to be a memorable experience for all present; we will work with you to customize the ceremony to ensure your wedding day will be one you will always remember

Wedding planning is an exciting time and can be stressful, Most our couples are not sure where to begin and what they need to consider in planning their Special Day. We want to offer any guidance, resources and shared information to our couples to ease some of the anxiety that can be involved

We offer listing of wedding professionals we work with and recommend who can assist in planning your special day as well; offering a custom ceremony planning resource packet along with a structured rehearsal coordination and ceremony itinerary.

Reserving Your Wedding
Submit the below contact form with a few details of your event or you can Email us and we will check our availability and arrange a time for you to meet to discuss your ceremony. At our consultation we will walk you through our one-of-a-kind ceremony planning guide, review the ceremony elements and offer any recommendations needed. We will complete with you a ceremony vision questionnaire and give you a formal quote for services. In reserving your event we require a reservation agreement and a retainer will secure the time and date for your wedding.

Wedding Day Ceremony
We arrive 20-30 minutes before your ceremony. Upon arrival, we will connect with the our engaged couple along with the Bridal Party, review any last minute ceremony details that need attending and coordinate with the other wedding professionals (DJ, musicians, photographer, etc.). If there is no wedding ceremony coordinator we usually are available to take on that responsibility. We will coordinate the details of the processional and the ceremony. Be assured, we have it covered.

Marriage License Information
Marriage License; The Couple understands that they must apply & obtain a valid marriage license from the appropriate jurisdiction/residential county clerk of courts and/or where the county where the ceremony will be performed (out of state). couple shall provide such valid marriage license to the Officiant to review and execute at the rehearsal or prior to the ceremony. The Officiant cannot and will not perform a marriage ceremony without receiving the appropriate valid marriage license prior to the ceremony. (When uncertain contact your local county clerk of courts for further details) The Officiant does not work for and/or have a contractual relationship with any county clerk of court office.

Location outside of our 15 mile raduis may be subject to a higher rate. Travel to the location of your wedding. Thirty (30) minutes one-way, 1 hour round trip included - (a travel fee may apply if more time required).

Service Package Information
Simple Signing/Minimony by appointment
The minimalist approach -having that destination wedding and/or formal ceremony celebration later, meet us at the local coffee shop/restaurant for a legality only signing of your marriage license - no ceremony- the simplest form of making it legal we can do. We’ll meet up, sign the license and ask if you take each other to be your spouse, you say we do, fill out a brief contact “I DO” form and Our officiants review the marriage license documents and sign off on the document, then return the copy for framing or wedding book to the couple and we will submit the legal documentation to the clerk of court on record. from $40.

Civil/Simply Service from $75
Couple Only ceremony maybe up to 6 -10 guests Simple I do ceremony at Couple Select Location*Out of local region may be subject to higher rate. Our couple completes a brief reservation & questionnaire once we have a base ceremony vision, we select and officiate a simple ceremony. Completion of marriage license documentation, submitting to clerk of court paperwork for processing your certified copies of marriage license. We even have a list of smaller event locations to include free local park to a paid venue.

Private Small Ceremony Service from $150.
When you want to keep it simple to semi formal but have a few more folks join in and have a personal custom ceremony - this wedding ceremony package is for you. Our couple completes a reservation & ceremony vision questionnaire once we have a base ceremony vision, we can provide a few ceremony options to choose from, customizing as you wish. Completion of marriage license documentation, submitting to clerk of court paperwork for processing your certified copies of marriage license We even have a list of smaller event locations from a free local park to a paid venue.

W2W Semi Formal Service from $250
Is our full package, you’ve found the perfect venue, now you need someone to help you put together an awesome ceremony that represents your individuality and your traditions, who you are as a couple!”. Our couple completes a consultation reservation & ceremony vision questionnaire once we have a base ceremony vision, we can provide a custom ceremony planning packet to choose from, customizing as you wish We work with you to prepare that memorable ceremony, a rehearsal is not included, if necessary, we will determine if an onsite rehearsal is needed or a zoom or phone chat will do or if your Wedding Planner or Venue has a coordinator will cover it. Completion of marriage license documentation, submitting to clerk of court paperwork for processing your certified copies of marriage license.

Rehearsal – Add On- from $100. We can attend & direct your rehearsal - family seating, processional, recessional This is an additional fee to full-service option above.

Rev. Deb O'Dell is a gem to our blessing in celebrating 44 years seamlessly with personal selected biblical scripture and prayer. Her service is top-notched in caring for her client’s best interest in fulfilling your dreams come true, in saying "I Do". Deb has an excellent form to critique your once in a lifetime celebration. Excellent follow-up. Took photos shortly afterwards. We were threatened with storms for the day, but as always - God made away and saved the day! Thank you for being a part of this memorable celebration of life. Highly recommended for those in need.

Rev. Deb O’Dell was great and I would recommend! We decided to use her for our wedding when she married my sister and brother-in-law.
Deborah V officiated my wedding and did an amazing job. She made my husband and I feel completely comfortable and took her time when we were crying during the ceremony. She laughed with us and at times even made us laugh during the ceremony. I would highly recommend Deborah to anyone looking for an officiant.
She is very organized and has a lot of different options and suggestions depending on what type of ceremony you’re looking for. The ceremony can be very customized to what you are looking for. We did a mix of traditional and religious and loved the end result. - The day of the wedding she was on time and we loved our ceremony!

Absolutely Amazing
We are so thankful for Deb & John O’Dell! They were amazing from rescheduling the wedding because of covid-19 shutdown, to the day of the new date, and everything in between. Contacting them was super easy I had many ways to do so via phone, Facebook, and Gmail (Very Responsive) and a Zoom meeting 3 or so days before the wedding. The day of the wedding John was very professional, dressed up in a very nice suit and tie, and his words flowed like butter. Everything was very smooth and transitions throughout the wedding ceremony were flawless. After the wedding and as pictures were being taken John came down to say goodbye and took a few images with us and for that I am great full. Not only did we get everything we asked for, they made the whole process easy and for that we are blessed to have worked with them!
